Starting Position: Find a lat pulldown machine. Make sure the pulley is in the top position with a wide bar attached to it. Site straight up with your knees under the pad and you feet firmly planted on the ground. Grab the bar wider than shoulder width apart.
Performing the exercise: Pull the bar down to right above your chest. Slowly return the bar to the starting position.
Tips
- Keep your feet on the ground
- Perform this like you are doing a pull-up motion
- Do not use your bodyweight to pull the bar down.
- Do not lean too far back
