Seated Calf Raises

Starting Position: Sit on a seated calf machine with your legs under the pad and your toes on the foot rest.

Performing the exercise: Lower you heels to the lowest possible position and then move the weight back up as high as you can go on your toes.


  • Go all the way up and down, on your toes as high as possible with a slight pause as you flex your calf muscle
  • Perform with a slow controlled motion
